Flavr Studios Hire Policy Returns, Warranty & Refund Policy

At Flavr Studio, we value transparency and professionalism. Our policies are designed to ensure a seamless experience for our valued clients, whether utilising our studio services or purchasing products. These policies comply with Australian Consumer Law.

 

1. Studio Hire Policy

1.1 Compliance with Australian Consumer Law

  • Our cancellation policy aligns strictly with the provisions set forth in Australian Consumer Law.

1.2 Studio Use

  • Clients are responsible for their own health and safety while using the studio. This includes potential risks associated with slips, trips, falls, and ladder use.

  • All equipment, including props, backdrops, and the cyclorama, must be used safely and as intended. If you require assistance or have concerns about using studio equipment, contact us at hello@flavrstudios.com.au at least 48 hours prior to your session.

1.3 Cancellation by Client

  • Clients may reschedule bookings up to 20 hours before the scheduled session.

  • Refunds are not issued for cancellations; however, we will reschedule or credit studio time if circumstances prevent you from attending your original booking.

  • If your session does not meet expectations, please contact us, and we will address your concerns accordingly.

1.4 Cancellation by Studio

  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Flavr Studio reserves the right to cancel bookings. In such cases, clients may choose between a full refund or rescheduling options.

1.5 Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must adhere to studio guidelines and honour scheduled appointment times.

  • Use of the studio and equipment must be conducted responsibly and as directed.

1.6 Liability and Indemnity

  • Flavr Studio is not liable for injuries incurred during sessions. By using our services, clients agree to indemnify Flavr Studio against any claims arising from the use of our facilities.

1.7 Intellectual Property

  • Photographs captured within the studio premises are the intellectual property of the respective client or photographer, unless otherwise agreed upon.

1.8 Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

1.9 Amendments

  • Flavr Studio reserves the right to amend this policy. Updates will be prominently displayed on our website.

 

2. Products: Returns, Warranty, and Refunds

2.1 Returns Policy

  • Eligibility for Returns:

    • Products may be returned if they are defective, damaged during shipping, or not as described.

    • Change-of-mind returns are NOT ACCEPTED.

  • Condition of Returned Products:

    • Products must be returned in their original, unopened packaging, complete with all components, and in a saleable condition.

  • Return Timeframe:

    • Requests for returns must be initiated within 7 days of receiving the product.

  • Restocking Fee:

    • A restocking fee may apply, determined on a case-by-case basis.

  • Return Process:

    • Contact Flavr Studio via hello@flavrstudios.com.au with your order details and a description of the issue.

    • Await authorisation before returning the product.

    • Approved returns will be inspected upon receipt, and any fees or refunds will be processed accordingly.

2.2 Warranty

  • Coverage:

    • All products sold by Flavr Studio are covered by a manufacturer's warranty against material defects, as specified by the brand or manufacturer.

    • Warranty periods and conditions are detailed on the respective product or brand's website.

  • Exclusions:

    • The warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, unauthorised modifications, or external factors (e.g., accidents, weather).

  • How to Claim:

    • Contact Flavr Studio at hello@flavrstudios.com.au with proof of purchase and details of the defect.

    • Flavr Studio will facilitate the warranty claim with the manufacturer or supplier.

    • Repairs, replacements, or refunds will be processed as per the manufacturer’s warranty terms.

2.3 Refund Policy

  • Refund Eligibility:

    • Refunds are available for products:

      • That arrive defective or damaged.

    • Refunds are processed only after inspection and approval.

  • Non-Refundable Cases:

    • Change of mind.

    • Products returned outside the specified timeframe or in unsaleable condition.

    • Products damaged by misuse or unauthorised modifications.

  • Refund Method:

    • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7 business days of approval.

2.4 Inspection at Delivery

  • Customers must inspect products upon receipt. Failure to notify Flavr Studio of defects or issues within 7 days will be considered acceptance of the product.
