my Gemini heart found fuel in the open minds around me.

Johnny: Radical Freedom

We met Johnny over a casual breakfast that turned into a 3 hr deep dive. This Australian expat radiated energy, with a big personality & sharp awareness. He shared his story of leaving his home country in 2019 to prioritise freedom & live authentically.

Johnny’s passion for crypto sparked curiosity in us. He pointed us toward resources to learn and spoke with such conviction that it reminded us to live boldly and question everything. His radical honesty might not be for everyone, but it left us inspired to embrace life on our terms.

Alister: Dream Bigger

While Mike was surfing at Nusa Dua, he met Alister, a young physiotherapist who moved to Bali in 2019. Alister has built a nourishing life for himself, blending his passion for body health with the freedom Bali offers.

His advice was simple yet profound:

“Trust your ideas and dream bigger. The opportunities here are endless.”

It was exactly what we needed to hear. Mike left the water with a refreshed perspective, & his excitement fueled my own.

Mitchum & Aston: Owning Your Path

A coffee catch-up with our friend Mitchum in Canggu turned into a brainstorming session. Mitch, a high-spirited entrepreneur, has been building on an elite brand with his close friend & founder Aston. Their energy & focus is magnetic.

When I asked Aston about finding clients & he said: “You don’t look for specific people in specific places, I’ve learnt that the buyer can be anyone. Instead you decide what you sell. Show up consistently & people will come to you knowing you for what you sell.”

This mindset shift was a gift, reminding us to keep it simple because it is simple & to think bigger.

Tom: Trust the Green Channel

On our flight to Koh Samui, I met Tom, a soulful creative with a calming presence. He told me about “The Green Channel”—a mantra of trusting the universe and knowing everything is working out.

When turbulence hit, Tom sang his Green Channel song. What a vibe.

This man, his story & his mantra shifted my perspective. The hard of leaving Russian (home for him) due to tension in 2019 & not knowing a return date VS the hards I have experienced are drastically different.

Tom is a passion creative & leader who focuses on guiding people to find their voice and inject their personality into their work, whether it’s through branding, content creation, or simply finding the courage to take up space in their industry.

During our conversation, he shared stories about his clients’ magic moments. It was clear he’s deeply & genuinely motivated by empowering others, cheering them on every step of the way. His enthusiasm wasn’t just for his work but for the magic he sees in others.

By the end of the flight, his words weren’t just inspiring—they were a call to action.

His belief in possibility & self-expression left me energised & ready to approach my own work with new levels of authenticity.

I’ve learned that those who break out of their usual boxes & live life on a broader scale bring an unmatched depth to their conversations—raw, vibrant & inspiring.
